1-Year Store Warranty

Coverage:
Against the Grain Furniture warrants that eligible products, as specifically noted on their individual product pages, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.

What This Warranty Covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.

  • Structural integrity issues (e.g., frame failures, joint separations).

  • Defects in hardware or mechanical parts (such as adjustable features).

  • Paint or finish defects (excluding normal wear and tear).

What This Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Products not specifically stated as covered on the product page.

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect.

  • Normal wear and tear, including scratches, scuffs, or fading from use.

  • Damage caused by improper assembly, modification, or disassembly.

  • Water damage or exposure to extreme conditions.

  • Products sold as clearance, seconds, or "as-is."

How to Make a Warranty Claim:
To make a claim, please contact us at support@againstthegrain.nz or via live chat on our website with:

  1. Proof of purchase (order number or receipt).

  2. Description of the issue.

  3. Photographs of the defect or damage.

If your claim is approved, we will provide one of the following remedies at our discretion:

  • Repair of the defective product.

  • Replacement of the defective product.

  • Store credit or refund if repair or replacement is not feasible.

Limitations:
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. Our liability is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the product and does not cover incidental or consequential damages.
